it's a funny thing

Let's make a list of the places to which it would be most interesting to travel.  Hong Kong. Singapore. Toyko, Rio de Janeiro.  Even Mexico City.  You get the gist.  Cities. Big cities. Really foreign cities. But Pavones? Probably not even in the top 50.  Yet, 2 weeks out from my first surf excursion, a suitcase full of bikinis, board shorts, flip flops and nothing else is very exciting. The concept of a different pace of life, a different perspective on life is tremendously appealing. Pura Vida? Seems overused. Still ... una vida pura es una vida rica.  We shall see.
